Runveer Rawoo
Runveer Rawoo is a pioneering Artist and Art Educator hailing from Mauritius, internationally recognized as the founder of the Conscious Art Movement. Rawoo's work transcends traditional painting, functioning instead as a visual pilgrimage dedicated to revitalizing the profound and often-forgotten connection between humanity, the Earth, and the self. His artistic practice is one of manifestation, not merely creation. Philosophy in Pigment Rawoo’s philosophy is inextricably linked to his materials. He intentionally amiss synthetic mediums, embracing a palette of the primal and sacred. His canvases are transformed into living, resonant altars using elements drawn directly from the sacred Earth: soil, kumkum, turmeric, and coal. The resulting texture, scent, and vibrancy of these natural pigments are a powerful, tangible prayer for ecological and inner balance, imbuing each work with a profound, elemental energy. International Impact The potency of this journey was recently affirmed during his international residency and acclaimed solo exhibition, Introspection, held at Gallery Mcube in Nepal. The exhibition featured nine profound paintings dedicated to Devi Linga Bhairavi—a masterful meditation on the Divine Feminine and the Earth as a living, breathing entity. The overwhelmingly positive reception highlighted the urgent global need for this distinctive visual dialogue. Commitment to the Planet Rawoo’s commitment is deeply rooted in the philosophy of Sadhguru’s Conscious Planet initiatives. His artistic adventure began and continues in synergy with the global mandate to protect our soil—the very medium that defines his body of work. As an active Save Soil Earth Buddy, Runveer leverages his art as a powerful vehicle to foster ecological awareness, inviting viewers to move from passive observation to conscious participation in the wellbeing of the planet. Runveer Rawoo is dedicated to establishing the Conscious Art Movement as a consistent and powerful global force, one earth-sourced masterpiece at a time.
